Pride Box: Pop-Tarts Artists Series

Kellogg's Pop-Tarts launched its first-ever Pride limited-edition Artist Series Pop-Tarts box in June 2022. The aim is to create an experience that celebrates the diversity of Black LGBTQ people without any reservations. As a creative consultant, I collaborated with a committee of multidisciplinary Black LGBTQ creators to decide which stories would create the most impact when featured on the box. Based on that, I came up with the theme and design concept and commissioned Thaddeus Coates, a Black LGBTQ illustrator, to bring the idea to life. Together, we created a unique piece of art for the main box and 8 individual images to be featured on the Pop-Tarts. Kellogg's and GLAAD will launch a first-of-its-kind partnership with programmatic activations leading up to Pride.
