Major N Motion (he/him) is a Webby, Shorty, and Telly award-winning producer, short film director, broadcast host, and red-carpet correspondent. In partnership with GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ media advocacy organization, Major founded NEON, an ongoing digital content series that aims to increase the visibility of Black LGBTQ+ people and their allies. The initiative has gone on to work with major brands, and companies, and launch campaigns with Mastercard, Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts, and Ally Bank.

A graduate of Point Park University, Major started his professional career as a dance artist performing works by Alvin Ailey, Nacho Duato, Robert Battle, Francesca Harper, Kyle Abraham, and many more in New York City and on global stages.

Along his journey as a media professional, he noticed that nuanced and intersectional Afro-descendant stories were missing so he set out to amend that by creating work reflecting individual and collecting experiences of Afro-descendants both domestically and internationally. Major has witnessed the importance of identity lead storytelling and strives to create content where individuals can feel seen.
